Private jets are glamorous. It's hard to banish images of actors, rock stars and billionaires living the high life in the skies, flying whenever they want without the airport hassles of long queues, crowds and security checks. The seats are big and luxurious, the champagne and lobster sandwiches are free flowing and the flight crew is willing to cater to nearly any request. No air rage here.
That perception isn't wrong, but it isn't a complete picture of the market either.
