Sarah has several years’ experience in public relations and communications consulting, with a strong background in the media and construction industries.

Sarah’s experience has included providing specialist communication services to major infrastructure projects in Queensland.

She has worked for government, mining and resources, rail, engineering, and construction clients during various project phases including bid development, planning and construction.

On these projects, Sarah developed and implemented extensive stakeholder and community engagement strategies, prepared a range of communication materials, managed sensitive stakeholder issues, prepared bid submissions to win major construction contracts, and coordinated project events.

Sarah has gained a range of media skills and a strong news sense from working in newsrooms and completing a degree in journalism.

At Cole Lawson, Sarah uses this experience to provide exceptional media relations service to clients in the non-for-profit, aged care, and resources sectors.

Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism and Bachelor of Business (Public Relations and Accounting) from the Queensland University of Technology.
