Margaret Lawson
Managing Director

Margaret Lawson has more than a decade of experience in media relations and corporate communications, across the private, public and university sectors. She has been responsible for communications in a billion-dollar corporation, and worked as a consultant with prominent global and national brands. Margaret has worked as a journalist in Australia and the United States, and is the founder of the successful media web site “Expert Guide”.

Cortney Thomson
Senior Consultant (Corporate)

Cortney Thomson has worked in one of the UK's top financial communications agencies, consulting for clients including Credit Suisse Asset Management, Barclays, and Morgan Stanley. 

Patrick MacDonald
Consultant (Media and Issues Management)

Patrick offers Cole Lawson's clients direct expertise in both the law and news media. A qualified solicitor, he holds degrees in Law and Journalism from the University of Queensland, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Skills and Ethics from Griffith University.  

Erin Rigby
Account Associate

Erin joined the firm as an Associate in 2011, and works three days per week while completing her final year of a Bachelor of Business (Public Relations and Marketing) at QUT.

Jesse is skilled at assessing the comfort-level of Cole Lawson's media training clients and assuming interview styles to suit and develop each candidate's confidence. 

Tali Scott
Office Manager

Having worked for two years in a chartered accounting firm, Tali brings the skills in bookkeeping and financial management to ensure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently in the Cole Lawson office.
