Cole Lawson strives to deliver outstanding service for clients and ensure that all our actions reinforce our clients' confidence in our abilities and integrity. Our company, our directors and our staff are committed to the following code of ethics:
We will deal honestly with our clients. We will deal honestly in all communications undertaken on behalf of our clients.
We will provide genuine advice on the likely costs of our services. We will advise clients as soon as possible of any anticipated changes to that advice.
We will advise a client if we believe their goals are not likely to be achieved. We will not promise or guarantee results which are beyond our direct control to deliver.
We will not support business activities that we believe cause fundamental harm to people, communities, or the environment.
We will respect and preserve the confidences of current and former clients. We will not disclose or otherwise use information collected in the course of our dealings with a client without the prior consent of the client.
We will not accept new clients whose business activities are in direct competition with existing clients, or where such acceptance creates a potential conflict of interest with an existing client.
We will disclose any shareholding or other interest held by Cole Lawson or any of its employees in businesses whose activities place them in competition with our client. We will disclose any financial interest held in or gained from a business whose services we recommend or use on behalf of the client.
We will strive at all times for the highest ethical standards in our dealings with our clients, our staff, other businesses and the community in general.
