Dr Bernard McKenna

Dr Bernard McKenna is an Associate Professor at one of Queensland’s leading universities. His academic teaching background covers communication theory, corporate and scientific communication, political communication, organisational communication, and business ethics at graduate and undergraduate levels.

Bernard is also an active researcher with publications in national and international journals. His diverse research areas include technical, political, and managerial discourse; professional writing; and wisdom and knowledge management in the new economy. Prior to his appointment to his current position, Bernard spent nine years as a member of the Business Faculty at Queensland University of Technology. Bernard is an accomplished professional writing trainer, and has undertaken training for a range of mining, energy and engineering companies, and government departments.
